Carla Birmingham

Before joining the Enterprise School of Dance (now Enterprise Academy of the Performing Arts), Carla Birmingham owned Dance Continuum in Dallas for over 18 years. Her former students have gone on to attend Juilliard, Suny Purchase, N.Y.U, and Point Park Universities. Some have become Radio City Rockettes, Broadway Performers for “West Side Story”, and Walt Disney Company Performers. Others have been in “The Artist”, Nip/Tuck, True Blood and The Aqua Lilies, as well as Verizon, Tower Records, Hanes and Pepsi Commercials.

Carla has choreographed for many stage and television productions. Her credits include, “Reggie and the Roustabouts”, “The Tyra Banks Show”, “The Dallas Follies”, “The Miss Ft. Worth USA pageant,” and choreography for the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders.

Carla is an award-winning Performance Team choreographer. She has experience teaching all genres of dance across all age groups and levels. Carla lives in Enterprise with her husband, Jim. She has one daughter, Mckenna, who has just completed a 2 year tour performing in Broadway Across America’s “Phantom of the Opera.”
