Welcome
History of EAPA & Christina Biography
Welcome

Dear Parents and Guardians,

My name is Christina Hardy and I am the owner of Enterprise Academy of the Performing Arts. I have been involved in dance, and most specifically ballet, for more than 30 years. I received a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Dance Pedagogy from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. My professional dance experience includes multiple ballet and contemporary companies across the United States and also overseas in Russia and Poland. As a military spouse I have a diversity of instructional venues and have more than 20 years of teaching experience in multiple genres of dance with a focus on the Vaganova technique of classical ballet.

My vision for Enterprise Academy of the Performing Arts is to build an artistic schoolhouse that will be a pillar of the community in the development of all students into the best version of
themselves.

I am excited to enter this new season of life and look forward to our future together. I would like to thank you for your time and the opportunity to provide quality artistic education to your
children and to develop respectful, disciplined, and well rounded citizens to improve the overall community health of Enterprise, Alabama.

Please feel free to reach out via email to the schoolhouse with any questions, comments, or concerns at En*****************@***il.com.

Sincerely,

Christina Hardy

History of EAPA & Christina Biography

History of Enterprise Academy of Performing Arts

Christina Hardy thumbChristina Hardy is the owner of Enterprise Academy of the Performing Arts. She began her dance career as a student and later instructor for the Marta Jackson School of Dance. Knowing that dance was her passion, and her ability to teach was a way to display her passion, Christina chose to attend Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana where Christina earned a BA in dance pedagogy. Dancing with Butler Ballet she performed such principle roles as “Sugar Plum Fairy” in the Nutcracker, “Princess Aurora” in Sleeping Beauty and “Odette” in Swan Lake. Her other ballet credits include dancing in Pequita, Cinderella, Giselle, Raymonda, and La Bayadere. She has been a guest artist for Dance Kaleidoscope, Sawnee Ballet, Clay Ballet Theatre and was a dancer for the Indianapolis Opera from 2004-2006. Christina attended two international outreach tours. One to Poland, where she danced with the Warsaw Ballet; and the other to St. Petersburg, Russia, where she danced at the Rimsky Korsov conservatory. In 2006, Christina’s adventure continued to the Eastern Shore of Virginia, where she was the Director of Dance for Arts Center Cape Charles, a non-profit Arts Organization from 2006-2010. After getting married she continued teaching ballet as her family moved to Jacksonvile, NC and then Beaufort, SC. Now here in Alabama, Christina is excited to spread her passion for dance and the performing arts to the community.

High Caliber Instructors

Our professionally trained and caring instructors provide a very rewarding and positive experience for all students. All of our instructors are skilled dancers which is important in being able to demonstrate correct dance technique. In addition, we also have assistant teachers helping and demonstrating in many classes. All students are placed into their respective levels by the decision of our faculty and are evaluated periodically to make sure that each student is training in their appropriate level.

State Of The Art Facility

Our spacious facility, conveniently located at #6 North Pointe Parkway, was finished out specifically for dance. Our floors are built on a wooden base to reduce stress on the dancers’ bodies. The facility currently consists of three air conditioned studios with viewing windows and a comfortable lobby.
